We thought you might like to know a little bit about us and all the wonderful people who work for us.

John Fairley is the brains behind Country Valley. Along with generations of Fairleys he has farmed this land for many years. Faced with the prospect of losing it all when deregulation arrived John needed to find a different way to keep it all going. Four years later Country Valley was born. After spending much of his time in the beginning in production John now searches out new markets to ensure the growth and well being of the business. It's hard to believe that a farmer could be such a great salesperson but as John says himself, "If you believe in your product then it sell itself." We all choked about the state of John's desk for the photo because normally you can barely see his computer, but somehow he still manages to get things done.
Amanda Weir is our Finance Manager who looks after all matters financial. Amanda works three days a week and ensures we stay in the black at all times. Apart from us Amanda is committed to her beautiful family of three daughters and husband and a her bevy of horses. Amanda is soon to become a grandmother and is looking forward to all things grandmothers do!

Kevin Browne joined us in April 2006 as our pasteuriser which was a godsend to John. It's great to be able to have three fully trained pasteurisers on board especially as we expand and maybe need to move to more production days. Kevin has fitted in really well and taken on his completely new role with gusto. Originally from a farming background he worked for many years in real estate (but we won't hold that against him). It was a fairly steep learning curve to begin with but Kevin showed us that in a very short space of time he was able to take on board all he needed to know to pasteurise the milk to the standards that our customers are used to. Kevin now runs our factory for us and is John's right hand man. He was the key person behind us winning the President's Medal for our yoghurt. Through his commitment and perseverance we have been able to receive one of the highest awards for a food product in Australia.

Louise Hardy commenced working for us in January 2005 as our accounts clerk. Louise manages most of the day to day accounts work and provides Linda with the time to get onto other things. She is a great person to have aroound with a fabulous personality. She and Linda combine efforts to keep John in line which can be quite a job sometimes!
Jackie McRae is our new administration clerk. She looks after all the fiddly bits and pieces that just have to be done and no one else seems to have time to do. Jackie only just started with us in February 2010 but she has already proven many times that we have made the right decision and we look forward to a long and happy working relationship.

Micheal Rees has been working for us since 2005 and is now proficient in just about everything there is to do around here. He is the assistant pasteuriser, factory coordinator and relief truck driver. He is an invaluable part of our business who has shown that hard work and commitment does pay off.
Our other staff members include our fabulous delivery drivers Lloyd and Peter; our hard working production staff: David, Craig, Caz, Jamie, Jeff, Ben and Pat; and the best yoghurt packing staff you could get Sam and Rose.
